Barrault + Associates Take Center Stage at PFFM Convention

Meet Leah Barrault, founder of Barrault + Associates and a fierce advocate for working people across Massachusetts. Recently, Leah served as parliamentarian at the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts (PFFM) Convention (and brought along her trusted Capital Energy mug for hydration support, of course).

Leah is a long-time friend of Capital Energy founder Ted Butler, and we wanted to highlight the important work that she and Barrault + Associates are doing to support firefighters across the state on a daily basis.

Leah’s fight for meaningful employee voices in workplace governance, fair wages, and equitable benefits runs deep. She has been protecting the interests of working-class people both individually and through class action representation for more than 20 years. Her ties to public safety labor unions are strong – in addition to The Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, she and her team represent The Professional Firefighters of Vermont, The State Police Association of Massachusetts Troopers, as well as over a hundred municipal and state public safety locals in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

At Capital Energy, we firmly believe that the fight for workers’ rights is closely connected to the fight for a socially equitable climate transition. As communities face the growing impacts of climate change, it’s critical that working-class people are not only protected from environmental harm but also included in shaping the transition to a sustainable economy.

Leah’s leadership - rooted in equity and justice - is exactly the force we need right now. We’re proud to feature her in our Mug Shot! series.

Thank you, Leah, for all that you do, and for showing us how purpose-driven leadership elevates the importance of both labor rights and climate justice.
